Business was recently purchased when the owner contacted us for assistance. We very quickly concluded that their cash register was not calculating the GST correctly. The company that set the register up had incorrectly coded items as except GST when there should have been GST on the sales.
In addition, their accounts payable were out and we found that some creditors had been paid twice and we were able to introduce a simple payment system to keep his creditors up to date and avoid any over payments.
The business has progressed and made changes based on regular Profit and Loss reports that indicated it was necessary to reduce costs which has resulted in profit growth and development of the business activities.
